VU+ DUO 4K Lite complements the wide portfolio of the VU+ brand with a modern and powerful receiver. The device supports two plug-in Full Band Capture (FBC) tuners, which makes switching between channels extremely fast and smooth. The user has flexible slots available in which two FBC tuners (DVB-S2 or DVB-C) or one dual DVB-T2 tuner can be installed. Powerful hardware, gigabit network connection, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and modern interfaces such as USB 3.0 or USB-C ensure readiness for future requirements.
This model allows not only watching TV in high 4K resolution, but also simultaneous recording of multiple programs. It supports advanced HEVC/H.265 decoding and runs on the Enigma2 Linux platform, which offers wide customization options. Of course, the function of pausing live broadcasts, streaming content within the network, and support for CI modules for paid stations are included. The elegant design also thinks about energy efficiency. This is a reliable and expandable solution suitable for demanding users and complex home multimedia systems.
Tuners and their options
The DVB-S2 FBC dual tuner contains up to eight demodulators. When using two satellite inputs, it works similarly to two classic tuners with six additional virtual ones. This allows you to watch, record or stream programs from multiple transponders simultaneously. In Unicable (SCR) mode, it can fully replace up to eight regular tuners.
